In December 2019, CERNER achieved the mark of 50 CERNER SMART HEALTH implementations, out of which 37 were in Karuna Trust Managed PHCs. These PHCs are now fully digitized with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The staff nurse and medical officers are trained in ICD-10 classification of diseases and each case is diagnosed accordingly. To celebrate this achievement, best performing PHCs in EMR were identified and awarded.

PHCs that consistently recorded more than 98% compliance from each region – Karnataka, Orissa and North-east were identified and awarded.

Likewise, best individual performers, in each category – Receptionist, Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, Lab Technician and Pharmacist were awarded.
