For the month of February, Srimangala primary health centre (PHC) has won the second position for the Kayakalpa award issued by Kodagu District Collector. The Srimangala PHC staff were invited to Vikas Soudha to receive the award along with a memento.

The Kayakalpa award is a national initiative by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India to recognise efforts ensuring quality assurance at public health facilities where high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control.
